Performers:

Khan, Nada and Amber, volunteered their services to perform Love Today

through a common desire to send a wave of hope and love to the world.

Nada Zabic has always loved the stage lights, acting in a number of high school performances.  At 18, she found her passion in hip hop dancing, performing with dance crews at various functions up and down the Gold Coast and Brisbane area.  Her first love has always been singing, her influences include Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Jill Scott and Whitney Houston.  Being taken under the professional wing of vocal coach, Dinah Williams, she has now found her voice and is singing full steam ahead.  She was with Khan Ropati in the Seth Rigg’s Summer Vocal Program in Hollywood in July 2009.  

Amber Arnold has been involved in singing, acting and dancing from the age of 3.

In fact Amber was singing before she spoke! Now, just turned 9, she has performed in over 6 musicals including starring as Annie and is being tutored by world renowned, award-winning vocal instructor, Dinah Williams. She holds many trophies for various vocal and acting competitions with most of her competitors being twice her age.

Amber was recently selected as 1 of 8 children throughout Queensland for the up and coming TV series Trash2fab in the group GenNow where she will record a song written on global warming issues. At 9 years, Amber is the youngest of the group up to age 16.

Amber filmed as the young Sarah in short film "God Bless Daddy" and is currently filming a feature film "Revenge after Death" where she holds a supporting lead role. She has also been selected to play a lead role in a major feature film called “Lucky Valentine” and another feature film called “Elli” written for her, which will be shot in 2011.

"Love Today" could easily sum up Amber's life as she is a happy little girl who just loves life and loves making others feel happy too.

Khan Ropati’s voice can only be described as “pure chocolate”. He is full of life both on and off stage. A seasoned performer, he has become a crowd favourite with his infectious, playful attitude and pure, strong, soul-filled vocals. If you love the explosive R‘n’B  soul feel of Luther Vandross and the groove of Stevie Wonder you will just love this exciting new singer. In July 2009, Khan was in Hollywood to perform and hone his vocal skills at the Seth Rigg’s Summer Vocal Program, sharing the stage with none other than James Ingram.

The memorable catchy reggae style tune of Love Today is synonymous with peace and harmony. It was co-written performed, tracked, mixed and mastered by multi-award winning writers Paul Harris and Jennifer Matthews from Bignote Productions on the Gold Coast in Australia.

The lyrics of Love Today were written by Hugo Bonham who has degrees in Physics and Counselling and is also a qualified Hypnotherapist.

The lyrics of Love Today were formed from the depth of Hugo Bonham’s soul and have the extraordinary capacity to reach and awaken individual’s Inner Wisdom and allow them to view life from a unique and higher perspective. All such soul communications, like the inspirational writings of Kahil Gibran, contain messages to many levels of our being and one mysterious phrase can have many different meanings. For example the Love Today chorus has at least three different meanings and the song itself speaks not only to the adult in us who wants to be responsible, but also to the nurturing parent in us who wants to love, and to the child in us who just wants to be loved and to have fun. It also speaks of the fearful child in us and of the child in us who is filled with hate.

The most poignant moment in the song is revealed at the end when Inner Wisdom is addressed. Inner Wisdom can be interpreted as our soul, or our heart, or our subconscious mind, or as unconscious thought processes, or as whatever it is in us that is responsible for our creativity and intuition, etc.

The lyrics of Love Today contain a simple version of Inner Wisdom Therapy, to transform the hate and fear in the hearts of the listeners into Love. This is found in the words: “Inner Wisdom, go do your thing, find what happened and decide again, love today, love today it’s the only way.” If the listener receives these words with an open heart and a willingness to change then there will be a shift in their perception of the world.
